Care & where this product performs best
Care & Maintenance
- Blend tiles from several boxes as you lay — a natural stone tile varies box to box.
- Order about a tenth over the measured area for cuts and breakage; the box is the unit.
- Seal after grouting and re-seal yearly; lift grout haze with the maker's cleaner, never an acid.
- Clean with a pH-neutral cleaner; no abrasive pads on a honed or tumbled face.
- Sweep or vacuum grit before it is walked in — it is what scratches an oiled surface.
- Damp-mop only, with a wood-floor cleaner; never let water stand on the boards.
- Felt pads under every chair and table leg; no rubber-backed mats on an oiled finish.
- Keep the room at 40–60% humidity — the planks move with the air, not the season.
- Store dry, sealed and out of direct sun; check the shelf life on the tin or the carton.
- Follow the maker's data sheet for mixing, cure time, speed and safety.
- Test on an offcut of the actual stone before the first visible seam or cut.
